Retirepreneur has teamed up with Hudson Community TV to launch Retirepreneur TV, a 30- minute monthly public access program designed to help professionals ages 50+ reinvent what it means to work in retirement. Retirepreneur founder, Donna Kastner, will host this program which features insights and interviews with local experts to help executives make a smooth segue form full-time job to part-time consulting gig, doing work they enjoy.
“People are living longer and an abrupt career stop at 65 no longer makes sense for many people,” said Kastner. “We’re championing a movement where rather than stop, these professionals might downshift to strike a blend of leisure and professional pursuits. Our mission for this program is to help pre-retirees explore the possibilities and learn from others in the community who are doing this.”
The first Retirepreneur program launched Oct. 9 and features an interview with Tom Speaks, principal and co-founder of The Impact Group, a marketing and public relations firm headquartered in Hudson. This program is also available, on demand, via the HCTV site watch.hudsoncommunity.tv.
