Show Notes for episode #28…
For this episode, we set hot topics aside and instead, chose to reveal more about lessons we’ve learned and strategy shifts we’re making at Retirepreneur.
Then, it’s on to a great book recommendation: Wisdom@Work: The Making of a Modern Elder by Chip Conley
Wisdom@Work: The Making of a Modern Elder
This book is so good, I’m on my third read. Chip Conley does a masterful job of teeing up a new role we can embrace: Modern Elder.
Simply adding years to the age scoreboard won’t get you a seat on the Modern Elder bus. In his book, Conley digs into five wisdom traits for Modern Elders:
- Good Judgment
- Unvarnished Insight
- Emotional Intelligence
- Holistic Thinking
PS: On October 18th, we’ll be joining Dr. Anita Leffel at Silver Founders Academy to host an incredible online book discussion about Wisdom@Work. Click here for details and to reserve a seat.
