Show Notes for Episode #26…
Hot Topic #1: Retirepreneur TV
Last fall, we expanded our media portfolio with the launch of Retirepreneur TV, which airs on Hudson OH local cable, with shows archived on our Retirepreneur YouTube channel. Interesting, but we were already gathering quotes to expand our video library when we discovered a wealth of free options at Hudson Community TV (HCTV). With support from two production maestros at HCTV – Station Manager Barb VanBlarcum and Operations Manager Dan Gerbracht, we’re producing a 30-minute show each month. Even better, we can edit these shows to create short, topic-driven video excerpts, like this one.
Did you know that…
- Online video will account for more than 80% of web traffic by 2020?
- Over 100 million hours of video are watched on Facebook every day?
- 85% of Facebook videos are watched without sound?
Click here for more fascinating video statistics and rest assured, we’ll be digging into this topic further in future podcasts and blog posts.
Hot Topic #2: Tax Changes
We interviewed Rich Warfield, President at DKC – Warfield & Company on a recent episode of Retirepreneur TV to learn more about tax bill changes impacting entrepreneurs and freelance contractors. If you click the play button above, our chat with Rich starts at the 4:34 mark.
