For episode #19, we set aside the “hot topics” format and indulged in an extended watercooler chat with one of our favorite experts, Daniel Winegarden.
Our paths first crossed last year in his role as co-founder of CCRC LifeCast, a business venture he launched with his wife, Lori. Say what you want about social media — but it’s putting me in touch with all kinds of talented thought leaders serving the 50+ space, most notably Daniel & Lori Winegarden. It started with “likes” on Facebook and mutual sharing of articles. Then thanks to Skype, we scheduled a couple of video chats to learn more about one another and we were off and running.
Daniel’s career path spans much wider than CCRC LifeCast — he’s an attorney and also Director of the Business Incubator and Accelerator at North Iowa Community College’s John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center.
